Final Grade Conversion

Minimum Requirements

⚠️ You MUST satisfy ALL three conditions

  1. Complete all homework (minimum passing score on each)
  2. Pass both TMs (score ≥50% on each TM)
  3. Total points ≥60

Failing ANY requirement results in a failing grade.

Example: Failing Despite High Points

Scenario: Student earns 85 total points but scores 45% on TM1 Result: FAIL (did not pass TM1)

FAQs

Q: Can I skip homework if I’m doing well on tests? A: No. All homework must be completed regardless of other scores.

Q: What if I fail a TM? A: You must retake it. One retake is allowed per TM.

Q: Can I improve my grade after the final? A: No. The final exam is the last graded component.

Q: What if I score 59.9 points? A: That rounds to 60, which passes (if other requirements met).
